He's a Roll Tide man! Alex "dressed" himself this morning, choosing not one of three choices Dada gave him, but spotting this in the closet and insisting on it instead.
Alex had a GREAT time playing in shaving cream at Ms. Shannon's house earlier this week.Alex started back full-time at Ms. Shannon's last Monday, and I had my first day with kids today. All-in-all a good day, but seriously exhausting! Alex is getting much better about answering questions to help us figure out what he's saying. You can ask him, "Is this what you said?" and he'll laugh and answer yes or no (usually with a nod). And he's totally obsessed with shoes. This has been going on for some time. He usually asks for "shoes on" shortly after waking up, he can't stand for anyone else to not be wearing shoes, and he's finally getting okay with the fact that we do not sleep in shoes. He still asks for them after we put on pj's every night, but he no longer cries when we tell him no. But if I am sitting at home not wearing shoes he'll find a pair and bring them to me, insisting I put them on (regardless of whether they are actually mine or Nick's)!
Smart kid! Shoes are pretty cool!
